In a book I'm reading, the author rattles off these three results from national surveys.  Which strikes you as the most unexpected?

For my part, I cannot imagine how one in five evangelicals can believe in reincarnation.

The first two aren't really surprising, but that last one is. I just can't fathom how that many people actually think that reincarnation is real and not just a bunch of nonsense.

I was a little surprised by the haunted house statistic, but probably because I have bought into the rhetoric that conservatives are, in large part, gullible country rubes.
